It’s been a while since Ariana Grande graced us with a performance. Over the past year, the singer has been focused on filming the upcoming Wicked movie, where she will portray Glinda, the Good Witch. As a result, fans have been deprived of new music from Grande, except for a live set in London earlier this year. However, over the weekend, Grande made a more spectacular comeback to the stage by joining Mariah Carey in a special appearance as part of her Merry Christmas One and All tour.
The crowd went wild when Grande and Jennifer Hudson joined Carey on stage at Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday night. Coming together to sing their hit “Oh Santa!,” the three artists adorned themselves in their best and most festive Christmas outfits. Grande wore a red off-the-shoulder mini dress from Mirror Palais with matching red opera gloves and shiny heels; Hudson donned a black feather and sequin mini dress, while Carey chose a snug metallic silver dress.
Together, the three stars perfectly captured the Christmas spirit. Perhaps we might be lucky enough to see another appearance by Grande before the end of the year, maybe on New Year’s Eve? After all, she does know how to rock a great party dress.
